my 4th of july

my 4th of july went okay, just missed mike like crazy but i still had a good day. i got up alittle before 6 on the 4th. i had alot to do before everyone started showing up for the cookout. i had to decorate teh cake i made. then i had to decorate the outside of the house. my oldest niece had stayed the night so that way she could help out with decorating. we had to blow balloons up and put streamers on trees. and other things. then about 9 or 930 my brother and his family showed up (all my but his oldest son. he had to go into work) so that way my sister inlaw and him could start on cooking. had alot of meats that needed to be cooked. then my sister showed up about 10 to help to about 1130 or 12 everyone started showing up. then about 1230 or 1 we ate then we all just sit around talked and hung out. my oldest niece started throwing watermelon at us. so i got a piece and throw it back at her. i also had one of my nephews put ice down her shirt. you should have seen her face. my sister took pictures i will try to see if she will email them two pictures to me so i can upload them to here. me, my sister, my nieces and nephews, and a few cousins played basketball that was fun. then we had a little bonfire and roasted marshmallows and about 830 pm the firework show started. first the bottlerockets and then the really pretty ones. and yes of course i have pictures. one of my nephews and nieces took pictures of everyone and i took them of the fireworks. so in all i had a good time on the fourth of july. just wish that mike could have been here.

5 years ago on this date me and mike had gotten married. it was along engagment. okay you may not think that a year is all that long but it was for me LOL. there was days during our engagment that i wish we was already married but we both wanted to wait until we had everything and we didnt want to rush getting it all together. we had to pay for just about everything for our wedding except for the food and my wedding dress. my parents paid for the food and my wedding dress. we was wanting to have a outside wedding but we could never find a place that we liked and that was cheap. so we got married in a church. we wasnt a member of a church so i had to call around to some churches. i called this one churh and they was wanting us to pay for nearly $500 for the use of the church but we had to clean up and we couldnt use it for the rehearsel and we couldnt decorate. so that wasnt worth it. so i called this other church and they only wanted what we could afford to donate. so we went with that church. and we got to use it for the rehearsal and we could decorate to. pluse we had to clean up but it was worth it all. i think we had donated like a $100 (we wasnt made out of money then or now lol). first our colors was going to be purple and silver but everyone kept saying that wasnt a pretty colors for a wedding. then it was going to be blue, a pale yellow, and a cream color. but i think we really didnt have a set color because i got tired of everyone telling me i should have this color or that. i didnt get to pick out my wedding dress neither. i couldnt never get anyone to carry me to look at dresses. so a aunt went to this store that sells wedding dress cheap and picked one out. the first one i really loved it but it didnt fit. so we sent it back to her and she carried it back and picked out another one and sent it to me. it fit. i liked it but i loved that first one. i wish it had fit. the rehearsal went good just alittle long. i think i didnt get in bed until late that night. then i got up early the day of the wedding but i slept good the night before. i think that was because me and mike stayed together. i know what you are thinking the bride and groom isnt suppose to see each other until the bride is walking down the aisle but we didnt care. we wanted to be together. i think it helped with the nerves and helped us sleep better. so we got up early the day of the wedding and started getting ready. i waited until we got to the church to put my dress on. i thought mike was so hot in his tux. ( i wonder if i could get him to another tux on LOL). my family was suppose to show up like a hour before the wedding started so that way we could have gotten pictures taken. but nope they didnt show up until like 10 minutes until the wedding and then we had to rush to get dressed. no i didnt have my wedding dress on yet because i didnt want to sit in a room by myself until they got there. i didnt do anything special with my hair. didnt really have help with it. a cousin help me up my veil on and i had to put my own make up on. well i didnt mind putting my own make up on though. t it wasnt nothing special really. i wanted big curls all over my hair but i didnt have help to get them. you may be wondering well she going to tell us how many people we invited. well we invited like a 100 people but only 10 should up. i walk down the aisle and i see mike standing up there under the arch and i though how did i get so lucky to have met this man and to have him marrying me. if you wondering if we had cried or not, nope we didnt. because we had made a deal that we will not cry. well everything goes smoothly and we get married and have the reception and then we leave to go on our honeymoon to six flags and that is all i am saying on that.

so that is the story of our wedding. and the pass five years have been wonderful. and i am pretty sure that we will have plenty more wonderful years together.

6 monthes down

6 monthes down and still way to many to go. sometimes the days seems to be flying by and some days it doesnt. mike has been pretty busy the pass month or so. we havent gotten to chat all that much. but the days we do get to chat is good days. there is some days that when we dont get to chat we at least get to email each other back and forth and those days are good days to. i have been trying to busy but there is days that i dont have anything to do. i have went shopping a few times. got a few things for mike. i even got things for him for our anniversary. i cant believe that we are going to miss celebrating our anniversary again. makes the second one we have missed together and it probably wont be the last. i was going to give myself a birthday party but mike's pay has been messed up here lately that i am not going to have money for a party. bills comes first, then mike, and then myself. the month of june was kind of busy. had my niece's birthday party. it was fun. and i carried two of my nephews to watch transformers 2. it was a really good movie. really didnt have the money for it but i want to do something with my nieces and nephews this summer sents it will be my last summer in alabama for awhile. and i cant do something with them all at once. so have to do it small groups. this month should be kind of busy. tomorrow is my and mike's anniversary. not doing anything special for it. but i wish mike was home so that way we could. have the fourth of july. my parents has a big cook out every year and i am going to make a cake for that. and of course i have my sister's birthday. may try to find something that she would like and give it to her. but dont know if i will have the money for what i want to get her but i will see. also going to have a bonfire the night of the fourth of july with my family. i think it will be fun. but we will see if everyone shows up. and i probably will be taken alot of pictures of the 4th and will be spending the 5th uploading the pictures..
