our trip to va beach

our trip to va beach was really fun. we left here about 230 on friday and got there about 430 maybe nearly 5pm. we carried our stuff to our room and walked out on teh balcony and looked at the ocean and took a couple of photos. then after we had rested awhile from the drive we went and walked on the boardwalk to find us something to eat. then after we ate we went back to the hotel and just watched alittle tv. then sit outside on the balcony some. then around 10pm something we watched some fireworks. i think the fireworks lasted about 5 or 10 minutes. then we went to be because we wanted to be all rested for our pictures we was having taken the next day. we got up on june 12 (saturday) and went ate breaksfast and then started getting ready for our pictures to be taken. then we walked across the street to the is store across from the hotel and bought a couple of things and tehn we went back to the hotel to wait on the lady who was going to take our photo for us. after she showed up we went and took those pictures and then me and mike came back to the hotel and our room and got ready to go to the beach and play in the water. yes of course i put on sunblock on. i was so surprised that i didnt get sunburn like i usually do. well i did get alittle red but not to much. so love that sunblock lol. i was so enjoying watching mike play in the water. it was so much fun. yes i got in the water for alittle bit but the current was really strong and since i cant swim i didnt want to stay in the water for to long. after we had been out for about a hour we got hungry so we went and got something to eat.. then we went and had those old time phots taken that was so much fun. i was a southern bell and mike was a cowboy. i wish we could have afford to buy all the photos but we couldnt. then we went back to the hotel and rested some and went back to the beach. the current was stronger then what it was earlier in the day. i think we had stayed out for about or so. it started to get cool outside. oh yeah the water was cold. but it did felt good though lol. then we went back to the hotel order something to eat and just relaxed. we was going to sit outside on the balcony to watch the fireworks again but there was some people on a balcony a floor or two below us that was being rude and screaming or talking as loud as they could and it was just frustated and not relaxing. then sunday morning we got up and ate breaksfast and did a little more exploring again but we didnt stay out to long because it was starting to get really hot and looking to much like it was going to rain. so we decided just come on home. believe me we didnt want to but we did. we was going to do a sunset boat ride on saturday but we didnt have the money for that and plus the current was really strong (you could see the boats that would go by just rocking). we may go back for our anniversary but not to sure yet.

well that was our mini vacation.

just another update

just doing another update for you. the month of may seemed like it went by pretty quick. i cant believe that we only have about a month and half left here in va. then it is on to texas and to a new adventures. we are doing good. just trying to stay busy. our trip to d.c. went good. we had to cut it short though. because i had gotten sick. we was going to stay one night there. we left on saturday morning real early and we got to the hotel and checked in and then we went visit to different places we wanted to go see. well when we got back to the hotel i had gotten sick. and i stayed sick all night long and just didnt feel like walking around somemore. so we came home. we been trying to pay off some bills. so far that is going good. i think we was able to pay off about four bills last month and maybe in several more monthes we can pay off some more. things with preparing for adoption is going good. i think we pretty much got what they call the birthparent or birthmother letter done. just got to do alittle editing on it and i think it will be done. wont know if the agency will like it but i guess we will find out in aug sometime if it will work or not. now we just got to decide on what picture we want to use on the birthparent letter and pictures to use in the adoption profile. still dont have any ideas for boys names. but we will decide on that one day. moving on to other things. we have planned alot this month. we plan on going to va beach in about a week and have some pictures taken. yes i will post them when we get them from the person who is going to take them for us. then we we get back from that we are going to go and watch the movie A team. mike is wanting to watch it but i am sure it will be a good movie. then like either the 27 or 28th we are going to go back to d.c. and go to the places we missed. we are only going to do a day trip for that. it should be fun. then like june 30 or july 1st we are going to go watch the new twilight movie. now that is going to be a good movie. wish i could go and watch it with my nieces and sister but there is no way we will be able to do that. we are going to be so busy this month. not only will be doing all that we will be getting ready to move again. now that is going to be a long trip. moving from va to tx. since al is in between we will be stopping off visiting with family and having a little cook out with them. this is so going to be a busy month. me and mike is wanting some roller blades. but dont know where any good places to roller blade at in va or tx. if anyone knows please let me know. we are hoping that either this month or the next one we will be able to buy us some roller blades. okay now to talk about the weight loss. i have lost 4 lbs. i said at teh beginning of may that i was going to try to loose any where from 2 to 5 lbs and i did loose 4 lbs. so yay. i was surprised at that i didnt think i was loosing any. i am going to try to loose any where from 2 to 5lbs this month. i do believe i can do it.
