i cannot believe that it has been a year already. our jelly bean is a
year old now. she had her one year old check up yesterday and
everything went good. she weighs 18lbs and 4ozs and is 28 inches long.
She got three shots yesterday and she did not like those at all. but
she needs them though. ( no i am not going to get in a debate about
whether or not to give her shots or not)
the
day of jelly bean's birthday we carried her out to eat and came home
and did things around the house for her. she got up that morning to
balloons and one gift waiting for her. when she seen the balloons her
eyes got big. the gift was a princess money bank, and a couple of
necklaces. she loved everything but what she loved the most was the
balloons.
her birthday party was on sunday
and it was a circus theme and we had fun on that day. not everyone we
invited showed up but that is okay we still had a good time. she got a
toy camera from her maw maw and paw paw, she got a shirt and some
stacking toys from her aunt kimmy, cousins jessica, jason, and cj. she
got a baby doll that talks from cousin kristen and her family. She got a
baby doll, a popple, and clothes from us. She also got a outfit from a
special person (her birth grandmother) also. I think her favorite gift
of all was the baby doll from cousin kristen. she has played with that
doll every since we took it out of the box. she even carried it to the
doctor's office with her.
well that is it for now. i will try to update a little more later.
We are a house full of seats and this is our world. We are going though the journey of trying to have a baby. So if you want to follow us though our journey you are free to do so.

11 months and counting
Sorry I am just now posting a update about our Jelly Bean. I can not
believe she is already 11 months old. The count down has started for
her birthday and birthday party. I cannot believe how fast she is
growing up. I up her on our scales and she weighs about 18lbs and I
measured her and she was 28 and half inches long. She still only has two
teeth but she has been chewing on things so I think she will have
another one sometime soon. When that will be who knows lol. She loves
holding your hands and walking. She is crawling everywhere now. There
was one night I had went upstairs to use the bathroom and to get ready
for bed and get her some bed clothes and she climb up the stairs (dont
worry daddy was right behind her so there was no chance of her falling
down them. ). She loves getting a happy meal (which we dont get her one
very often). She loves eating a go gurt. I think the go gurt is her very
favorite food to eat right now, well that is besides ice cream.
I cannot believe that in about 25 days our Jelly Bean will be turning a year old. and then like two days after her birthday we will be having her birthday party. Her party is a circus theme this year. I have pretty much gotten all the decoration for it. and some of the food that will not expire before then. Like the cotton candy, the Hawaiian punch and the cheese sauce to make nachos and cheese. I still need to order the cake. I may just get like a sheet cake with different colors on it this year. Really cant afford the over the top cake but that is okay after all it is going to be eaten haha.
We have her birthday gifts and she has been given ideas to family and friends what she would like to have for her birthday. I hope that her birthday doesnt turn out like the parties I have given in the past where no one really shows up (well besides my parents and siblings and their kids). I dont want that to happen to her. I remember as a kid growing up and having birthday parties and no one showing up at all. I remember for my 13th birthday my parents gave me a big birthday party and I invited all my friends from school and no one showed up. My dad and I even went to pick up one as she had asked me if we would and then when we got there she hadnt even asked her parents if she could go so we basically wasted gas that my parents really couldnt afford. It broke my heart and I am sure it broke my parents hearts that my classmates did that to me. I hope and pray that never happens to our Jelly Bean.
I have her a outfit that I put together myself. It looks like the ringmaster suit. She is going to be so cute. I also found a pair shoes that I found at a consignment store for like $2.50 that I am putting some crystal beads on it to bling it out. The shoes are white so I am going with red and black crystals. I may get a white ribbon or red ribbon to tie them.
Well I am going to go. I will give a update on other things sometime after 4th of July and then I will update you all about Jelly Bean's One year check up which will be three days after she turns one. In the mean time I hope you all are doing good and yall have a great holiday (to the ones in the US).

In two more months
Cannot believe that in just two more months our little Jelly Bean
will be a year old. Where has the past 10 months has gone. Just seems
like yesterday we was getting the text that she was being born.
She has grown so much the past month. She weighs 17lbs (that is if our scales are correct lol) and is 27 inches long. She has started waving bye bye and pointing at things she wants. Like last night she seen some dolls and pointed at the one she wanted. It was so cute. She has also been crawling on her knees. She isnt all that fast yet on them but she gets where she wants to go. She has been trying to pull up. She will pull up if you help her but she hasnt crawled over and pulled up all by herself yet. She is getting into a crawling position from a sitting position and she can go from sitting to crawling.
So yes she has gown so much.
We have been slowly buying things up for her birthday party that is coming up in July. Cannot believe that she is going to be one in a two months. Her party is going to be a circus a theme. I have been making things myself for the party. We also have been trying to buy her gifts up for her birthday. Just cannot believe that she will be one in a two months.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day
I was beginning to think that I would never be able to celebrate this special day of honoring mothers all over. But here we are after nearly 13 years of married life and trying to have a baby that I get to celebrate it. I get to hear the words Happy Mother's day to you from my husband and child. Well our Jelly Bean didnt say as she can only say mommy and dada and bye bye. Also sounds like she says pawpaw sometimes to lol. (I think she is a pawpaw's girl lol ).
Today has been a good day spent with Mike and Jelly Bean. We woke up once this morning at about 6 or 7 something because Jelly Bean was wanting a bottle. (we call it her first breakfast lol ) While she was drinking her bottle Mike gave me my gifts. He got me a fitbit from him and I love it (been wearing it all day) and Jelly Bean got me some color pencils (Mike said that she said that she hopes mommy will pass on the love of drawing to her lol). Then we went back to sleep for another hour or two. Then I woke up before Mike and Jelly Bean and got ready for the day.
We spent the day walking around Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville AL. I hope that our Jelly Bean will want to go to space camp one day. I think she would love it. Then we went to the botanical gardens of huntsville. I have to brag on the lady that works there wish I had gotten her name. When Mike was going to pay for his ticket as it was free for me today and Jelly Bean is still under the age where she can get in free. When this lady found out that we didnt have cash or check to pay for Mike's ticket as their computers was down and they could not take credit cards for payment she let him get in free and our bottle of water was free to. There is not many places that would do that now days they will just tell you I am sorry you can not get it in but this lady was nice enough to let mike get in free. We didnt still there long as it was hot and I forgot to bring us all sunblock. Plus my legs and feet was all ready tired from all the walking at the Space and Rocket center.
Now we are home resting up some and in a few minutes or so I will get ready to go get a Mother's day dinner from somewhere lol.
I hope you all have had a wonderful mother's day and to you all that is still trying to become parents please dont give up and I am sending up a prayer for you all right now. Love to all you readers.

Our Jelly Bean's pageant
Our little Jelly Bean had her Kentucky Derby dreamin (outfit of
choice wear) pageant last night. She got queen for her age group. Daddy
walked her out of stage. He did a pretty good job. I was going to walk
on the stage and then do the mama part of the pageant but my allergies
had been kicking my butt. But she I think she had fun doing the pageant
and so happy for her. Would have been happy for her no matter what she
would have gotten. Because we dont do it for the win we do it for fun.
It just isnt about winning (at least to us it is not about winning, now
dont get wrong if she wins she wins and we will celebrate that win but
it just isnt about winning to us. it is all about fun) I did do the
crowing with her. She kept looking at the others that was getting a
crown and trophy (just so you know each contestant gets something and I
like that. It shows that they all are winners) and then look at me like
mommy wheres mine. It was funny and cute.
We wish we could put our Jelly Bean in some more pageants this year. There is like four more we would love to put her in but we do not have the money for it. One of them is this month so I know we may not be able to enter her in it but we are going to try to. Then the next ones would be in Aug the summertime pageant ( I have a tshirt fundraiser going on for it. https://www.booster.com/addison-summer-pageant please helps get our Jelly Bean to this pageant by buying a shirt), There is one in Sept and then Christmas one. I really would love to do that one with her. But if we can not get the money raised up for theses pageants then we wont be able to do them this year. Maybe next year but I am not even sure then. So please helps us by either buying a shirt or asking about how you can become a sponsor for her pageants.

Oh time please slow down
Oh time how I wish you would just slow down. It has been nine months
and 3 days since our little jelly bean came in our lives. She is growing
up way to fast on us. On thursday she had her nine month old check up.
It went good. She is 26 inches long and weighing in at 16lbs and 11 oz.
What is kind of funny on this subject is that our scales was saying she
was over 17lbs and the doctor's scales says 16lbs and 11 oz, so which
one do we really go by? Which ever she is growing up nicely. She may be
on the petite side but she is growing up good. She has two teeth at the
moment and I have this feeling that she will be cutting another one
sometime soon. She still loves bananas and strawberries. She loves
getting a strawberry yogurt at Applebee's when we go out to eat. She
also loves Mac and Cheese. I have given her a little bit of french fries
but not too many. Now sweet potato fries she loves those and will eat
them lots but regular french fries she only eats a little of those. Dont
ask me why but she just loves the sweet potato fries more. She did
really well when she had blood drawn for her nine month blood work (it
was just normal route blood work for her then major please dont worry).
She is crawling every wheres now. She will be in one spot and then the next thing you know she is in another spot. The way she crawls is so cute. Some call it army crawl but to me it doesnt look nothing like army crawling. It looks more like she is slathering around but it is so cute. We do have to watch her really close as she wants to go towards the heater (it is turned completely off now that it is spring and summer .) She has started to try to pull herself up some. Right now it is just to her knees but I think it wont be much longer until she is pulling up in a standing position. She already will stand if you stand her up and her hold on to something like your hands or etc., . She is saying mommy, daddy, bye bye. Those are the words you can really understand the most. There is times when it sounds like she is saying pawpaw bye bye and that usually means she is ready to go see her pawpaw and mawmaw.
She has another pageant coming up this sunday. It should be a fun one. It is a Kentucky Derby wear pageant. I have got her a little white dress with a floppy like hat. I also have this cute little necklace I am thinking about letting her wear. It is a pink pearl necklace (not a real one. I wish we could afford to get her a real one. Maybe for her 13th or 16th birthday that is what we will get her). No matter what she places in this pageant she will have fun. It maybe our last pageant until Christmas or sometime next year. If we can get some sponsors for the pageants that would help us out a lot. I hope we can get some sponsors. Because I would love to continue with the pageants with our Jelly Bean this year. But we will have to see how it goes. I have decided to give the fundraising a try to help with the pageants. Right now I have a tshirt campaign going to see if we can get some money raised up for the pageants. If we get more then what each pageant is then it will be donated to cancer charity like relay for life or something like that. Here is the link for the tshirt campaign https://www.booster.com/addison-summer-pageant I hope you can purchase a shirt to help her get to her summer time pageant.
Okay that is it for right now. I will make a little post after the pageant to let you know how she does. We hope you all are doing good.

8 months and counting
I cannot believe that our Jelly Bean is 8 months old already. She is
growing up so fast. She is about 15 to 16 lbs and is about 27 and half
inches long. (that is what our scales and one of those body measuring
tape says). She is cutting one tooth possibly two. You can see the top
part of one coming thru her gums. She trying to get on her knees. She
hasn't gotten up all the way on them but I think she is getting close to
getting up on them. She also getting close to going forwards in her
walker.
About a week ago she had her Easter pageant. And she had a very good time. She has other pageant coming up in May and it will be her last this year. I really hope that we will be able to afford to put her in some next year. But it just costs alot with the entry fees and then the outfits.
She is looking forward to Easter this weekend. She got to meet the Easter bunny a week ago (the day before her pageant) and she did not cry at all. I was expecting her to but she did not. She is looking forward to Easter egg hunt on Sunday and getting her Easter basket from the Easter Bunny.
Oh how I cannot believe how fast that she is growing up. Before I know it she will be a year old.

7 months old already
7 months old already. How this time is going by fast. It still seems
at times that it was just yesterday that she came in our lives but nope
it was 7 months ago. She just gets beautiful more and more everyday.
She is moving and moving around more and more. She isn't getting on her
knees and crawling like that but she will turn her self around and
around until she gets to where she wants to go. She loves eating
bananas, pears, and strawberries. She also loves to play with her toys.
She still loves going shopping with mommy and sometimes with daddy lol.
She is looking forward to st patrick's day and easter next month. Mommy and daddy is looking forward to those days also. Jelly Bean has a Easter Pageant next month also that we all are looking forward to. She loves talking on the phone and trying to take over mommy's laptop.
Well I am going to go but i will try to update more later.

Our Jelly Bean is growing up
Our Jelly Bean is growing up way too fast. On Monday she had her six
months checkup finally (would have been on the first of this month but
we over slept. So no more morning appointments lol). The doctor said
that our Jelly Bean is growing up at a good pace. She is on the petite
side but she is all good. She weighs 14lbs and 13.5oz and was 25 and
half inches long. I was thinking that she was going to be over 15lbs
but hey it is okay. As long as she is healthy and that is what the
doctor said that our Jelly Bean is healthy.
Jelly Bean has said her first word. She has said Dada. The past few days it has sounded like she is saying mama to, it sounds so sweet and nice to hear her say these. She is also picking things up, mostly her toys. She loves to lay on her tummy in the floor and move around in circles. Maybe in a month or two she will be crawling. I am so not looking forward that but I am also looking forward to it also.
The doctor asked us if we wanted to give her the flu shot. We asked to make sure she was old enough and then we said yes. If it is going to keep her healthy that is fine with us. After getting the flu shot she had the runs for a day but she is now doing better. She goes back next month for a boaster flu shot and then in April she goes for her 9 months appointment.
Jelly Bean had a good Valentine's Day. She was happy and excited to get to spend it with her mommy and daddy. We got her a stuff Minnie Mouse and a balloon for Valentine's (she loves balloons). Mommy and her took some pictures and made a gift for daddy and daddy carried her to go pick out some gifts for mommy and she picked out a very pretty bracelet.
Well that is the update for now. I will try to update more later.

Half a year already
I am sorry that this post is late, I was waiting on the Jelly Bean's
doctor appointment that was suppose to be today but we over slept as I
was up and down last night coughing my head off. I caught the cold that
Jelly Bean had had for nearly two weeks. I reschedule her six months
well check up appointment. Instead of today it will be the 15th of this
month when she will get that check up.
I just cannot believe that it has been a half year already. Well six months and 10 days already. Jelly Bean is close to 14 lbs (at least by our scales) I think she maybe about 25 1/2 to 26 inches long but I am not too sure. Should find out for sure on the 15th. She is one smart baby though. On the day she turned six months old I took some pictures of her. I wanted to take them with her sitting up so I sit her up and she sit up all by herself with no help from me. I was so proud of her. She loves sitting up. She would whether to sit up instead of laying down. She will roll over sometimes when she lays down but not all the time. She loves to eat baby food and drink her bottle. She gets mad when she finishes a bottle or baby food.
Over the weekend we carried her to the circus. I think she had enjoyed. Well the parts that we actually could see. There was people that was getting in our lights. One woman thought she was better then anyone else because she got a chair and pulled it up close to the bars and sit right in our light. This circus was good but not as good as the circus that Mike and I went to when we was living in Texas. I hoping that maybe next time the Ringling Brothers Circus comes close by again we will carry her to it.
We also finally bought her a little highchair that you can either sit in the floor or in a dinning room chair. It has Minnie Mouse on it. She loves Minnie Mouse. She loves this highchair. She loves eating in it and just sitting in it and playing with some toys.
Yesterday we had to go to the store to get some Milk and she seen some balloons and it sounded like she was saying bollon so I had to buy her one. She picked out a Mickey Mouse balloon. So daddy and I talked about and decided that we are going to get her balloon and a stuff animal for Valentine's Day.
We have started planning her birthday party. We have her invitations for the party order. We are giving her a Circus Theme birthday party. We have a little over 5 months until her party. I just cannot believe it. I hope we can give her a really good party on a budget. A cheap budget. We was hoping to make it a big one as she deserves to have a big party but that is not going to happen.
Well that is a update for now. I will let you know how her doctor appointments goes.

Happy New Year
I can not believe that it is already 2016. Where did 2015 go? It was a
very good year and a sad year also. I will write the sad parts. Losing
family members was very hard. First it was a uncle and then other
uncle both of them was my mother's brothers. That was very hard. One was
very unexpected. The second one it was kind of unexpected but not
completely. We did have time to process that he was sick. Second Mike
last a great aunt. And then we lost a aunt, she was my dad's sister. She
had been in and out of the hospital for like a month. The last time she
went to the hospital she wasnt able to come out. Well I guess you can
say she did but not in the way we all wanted her to. So that was the sad
part of the year.
The good part of the year was the adoption process and our Jelly Bean being born and watching her grow the last 5 months. Yes, the adoption process was stressful (but not the part of the Jelly Bean. Just the money part of the adoption process.) It was a struggle coming up with the money to pay for it all. It still is a struggle trying to get things back to where we are not late on some of bills but we would not change any of it for nothing in the world because we have our beautiful daughter.
I did not get all my 2015 bucket list accomplished but I am going to work on a 2016
Lets see things that I am going to put on my bucket list for this year
We hope you all have a wonderful year. I hope it brings you joy and peace.

I did not get all my 2015 bucket list accomplished but I am going to work on a 2016
Lets see things that I am going to put on my bucket list for this year
- take photo every day for the whole year
- exercise every day
- break a bad habit
- give up sweets for a whole month (and hopefully beyond that lol. Starting this one now)
- make time for myself. There was times that I did not have time to do what I loved to do last year as we was getting use to being a family of three. (still getting use to it).
- give up soda for 30 days. Need to pick a month to do this one
- try to read at least 10 books this year
- spend a entire day watching disney movies
- have tech free day ( this is one that I didnt accomplish last year but going to this year)
- I would love to go to disney world again this year but it will be okay if we dont
- eat healthier
- grow my hair back out and dont ever cut it short again
- stick to my fitness plan
- do a good deed
- watch the sunset and rise at the beach
- go for hikes more
- stop eating fast food for a month (and maybe longer if I can do it)
- learn to accept myself for who I am and not what I think I should be and what others think I should be. Accept my faults and learn to move on from things.
We hope you all have a wonderful year. I hope it brings you joy and peace.
