Has it been a week already

Has it been a week already! It sure doesn’t feel that way. Feels like Jelly Bean just came in our lives. Actually, it feels like the birth mother was asking us to adopt her baby (well it would if the weather was cold haha).
Jelly Bean is going like a weed. She eats up a storm. She is only a week old and she can eat up to 3oz ( now this isnt every feeding but at some). She will wake up at 1 am and usually stays awake for awhile. This morning at this time I draft back off to sleep so I have no idea what time she actually went back to sleep. She is content to laying on the bed between mommy and daddy. The little bassinet type thing that our oldest niece got us wouldnt fit in the car with all our stuff and Jelly Bean’s to, so we left it at home. We had gotten one of those baby snuggle nest things that you can put in the bed between mommy and daddy but she will not sleep in it. We have tried. Plus the bed in the room here at the hotel isnt big enough for it and us to. There for a couple of days we tried to sleep with her in it and one of in the bed with her and the other in the arm chair but that just got uncomfortable and like I said it was just uncomfortable. I will be glad once we get home and I can put her in her own bed and I can sleep a little better. I know I wont be able to sleep much as she will be waking me up but at least it will be a little better then what it is now.
I would not trade Jelly Bean for anything in the world. She has stolen our hearts. When she is just laying there looking a round and when she thinks you are not looking she is just smiling and it will melt my heart every time. She is a really good baby. And I am surprised that we made it thru her first week.
