I can not believe that our little Jelly Bean is 3 months old today.
She is growing up so fast. I got on the scales with her today and she
weighs about 12lbs. She sure does love to eat lol. She has been very
cranky today. It could because of her having a tummy ache at least I
hope so. She also has had her first little cold this week but she seems
to getting better now. In about 8 days will be her first Halloween and
we can not wait. We are going to carry her to a couple of places this
next week. On Saturday we are going to carry her to this place that is
going to have some characters that you can take pictures with and then
on next Thursday I will be carry her to her first trunk a treat. Then on
Halloween night we will carry her to one place and then come home and
watch scary movies. She will most likely be a sleep when we watch the
scary movies.
I still can not believe that it has been 3 months already. I took her
three month photos (I am not putting pictures of her on here until the
adoption is finalized so please dont ask). I took her photos with some
pumpkins today. I had to go to the Walmart to get them first. She loves
going to Walmart. Especially going to look at the toys. Yesterday we
went to Hancock Fabrics and she loved it in there. She was all smiles.
We then went to the bookstore and she did not like it there at all. She
was very cranky while we was in there. I think it may have been because
she was sleepy but who really knows.
She loves her little minnie mouse security blanket that she has. She
has to sleep with it. She also takes naps on mommy to ( that is when
daddy is not home). She wanted a miss potatoe head today at walmart but
mommy would not let her have it because she is not old enough for it
yet. maybe in a couple of years she can have one.
I need to come up with a really cute idea for her 4 month old photos. If you have any ideas please let me know.
We are a house full of seats and this is our world. We are going though the journey of trying to have a baby. So if you want to follow us though our journey you are free to do so.

starting to feel better
I am starting to feel better now. I got the stint removed this
morning. I am still in a little pain (mostly like sore pain) from the
stint but that is slowly going away. I am hoping that by tomorrow it
will be completely gone and I will be 100% better. I do want to take
the time to thank Mike and my niece.
Thank you Mike for being the a very wonderful husband while I get better. I know I couldnt have gotten thru any of this without you. Thank you for taken such great care of our daughter when I couldnt. I know you will say that I dont need to thank you because you would do it all over again but I do have to thank you because there is some men out there that wouldnt do all that you did for us.
Thank you Jessica (our niece) for helping out over the weekend like you did. I know that I would not have been able to take care of Jelly Bean at all and I am so thankful that you came to stay and help out. Jelly Bean loved having you here and she says she cant wait to spend time with her cousin Jessica again.
And now I am going to thank Jelly Bean.
Thank you Jelly Bean for being a very good girl for us while mommy has been recovering. Your smiles has helped mommy recover quickly and your cooing at us has helped also. Mommy loves you and thinks that you are a very good baby. Now just continue to sleep like you do at night until you are not waking up at all not even for your pacifier.
I hope and pray that I do not get another kidney stone again. That was rough, it was rougher then what it was the first time I had one back in 2012. That time I did not have the kind of pain I had this time around. This time around I had a whole lot of pain. Now get back to 100% and I will be doing good. I also havent being drinking as much soft drinks as I was. I think I am slowly getting back to where I am not drinking them at all. Maybe by this time next year I will have quit drinking soft drinks all together. That is the plan.

as most of you know
As you all know that a week ago I had that shockwave blast kidney
stone surgery (shock wave lithotripsy). Well I had my follow up
appointment for that on Tuesday. I go into the doctor, the nurse carries
me around to where they do the xrays and takes a xray then carries me
to the exam room. The doctor comes in and goes well I was hoping that
surgery would be it for you.
So yep I had to have another surgery (some of you may already know this because of being my family or very closes friends or just friends on facebook and plurk one) The doctor goes on to tell me that it did break up some but not like it usually does. He also told me that he usually dont have anyone come in as early as I for a follow up but when he did the surgery last friday he just couldnt really tell much so he wanted me to come in earlier and see. So after we talked about what was next to do I went and set up another surgery this time I had the same surgery I had three years ago with the last kidney stone surgery I had. Today’s surgery was laser lithothripsy (for those who do not know what that is. It is where they go up my urinary tract with a scope and locate the kidney stone and remove it with a basket thingy with a laser to it. At least that is how he explained to me. Let me tell this doctor was the best urologist I have seen and I have seen two. He took the time to explain it the way I could understand it and also listened to my concerns about things. ) It went pretty good. At least it went better then last weeks surgery where I had woke up throwing up and this time I did not. I am still a hurting a little but not like I was. I think it is mostly like a uncomfortable hurting lol but I think that after thursday I will be feeling better that is the day I go to have the stint removed.
Now to talk a little about the surgery. I had to be at hospital at 6 am this morning. We got there and I got signed in and I guess we may have waited like 30 minutes before the nurse came and got me to carry me to pre op to get ready. She was a very nice nurse. Very talkative and that is what I like someone who is going to talk to me that helps keeps the nerves down. She was trying to check my blood pressure and ask me questions to and we got disturb like three times. Then when that was done she picked up my chart off the bed and it started making this noise. We both just started laughing it was funny. (Oh I have to tell you this. You know how there is lines in woods that how most hospital room doors just been stained or something like that. Well the lines in the inside of the door to my room looked like angels, so I guess my two of my guardian angels was there today.) After laughing she finished up the questions. I think it was a little after 7 when the gas man (sorry but I dont know how to spell the right word for him so he is the gas man to me lol.) came in and talked to me. I told him how I got sick last week and he said we will get the patch and put it on you and every change things around a little, so glad that these doctors and nurses listened instead of talking over me like I have had them to do in the past. Then it wasnt really too long after the gas man left the room the my doctor came in and talked to me (yes Mike and Jelly Bean was in the room with me, everyone got going how cute she was) then before he left the room he said that he one person in front of me but it was just a little surgery that it wouldnt take too long. Then Mike and Jelly Bean left the room and the nurse came in and gave me one of those I do not care shots and I slept on and off a little until they came and got me. They wheeled me in the surgery room and the gas man and nurse was getting tickle at me I think. As I was ready to get it started over with lol. Then the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. Then went back out to post op (which is the same area as pre op) and I had the same nurse I had last week in pre op and we talked as she was rolling me down stairs to get in the car to go home. I think I may have stayed in post op for maybe 30 to 40 minutes at the most. When I asked if I could go pee she came in and discharged me afterwards. She said she was waiting for me to say something lol. She got going on how Mike was a very good father and he is. He has taken very good care of me and Jelly Bean since all this started. There is not enough of words how grateful I am for him. But I do want to take a moment and thank him
Thank You So much for taken such great care of me and our daughter. I do not know what we would have done during this time with out you. I love you so much.
I also want to take the time say a thank big thank you to our niece Jessica. Thank you for helping us out this weekend while Uncle Mike works. We love you and even though I am laid up in bed this week we still going to have a good time. Love you.
Okay I think that with this being my second kidney stone in the past 3 years that I think it is time to find out why I keep getting them. Maybe what ever it is it will be something easy to prevent.
Oh yeah almost forgot. Last thursday when I went to the doctor I had weighed in at 200lbs (yep :/ I hit that weight mark again) I have lost back down to 193. Not the way I wanted to lose weight and I know I may gain a little of it back if not all but I am going to try my hardest not to.

2 months doctor appointment
Our Jelly Bean had her two months doctor visit yesterday and it went
very well. Well better than very well it went great. She has grown to
23.5 inches long, her little head is 39.5 cm round, and she weighs 10
lbs and 12 ozs now. The doctor said that she is doing very good and for
us to keep up with what we are doing. She also did great with her shots
to. She did not do a whole lot of crying and the nurse seemed surprised
at that. She did cry when she got stuck with the needles but once daddy
picked her up she stopped crying until , okay this is a funny party,
the nurse said “wow no more crying,” then she started to cry a little.
It was so funny. She did very well once we got home to. She was not all
that cranky, thinking back I don’t think she was cranky at all. She was
all smiles. She did sleep a little more but the doctor did tell us that
was to be expected, so all in all she did a great job yesterday.
I am now going to take a moment to brag about our Jelly Bean for a couple of things. Since I have been sick she has been such a good girl. There was one time that she got a little more crankier then usual once and that was on the day I had went to the emergency room when all this kidney stone pain started really bad. But I think the only reason she was crankier was because she didn’t feel good herself. We was laying in bed I believe we was watching Ice Ages, and I was given her bottle. She acted like she was didn’t want it anymore so I was going to burp her and she throws up all over herself and our bed. I think her little belly was upset. She had been eating up a storm that so maybe she just over ate. (before anyone starts, no we do not over feed her. We do give in a couple more ozs of milk if she wants it though) Or it was just because she was just very gassy which that is probably what it was it. Other then all that she has been a very good baby for her. I know her daddy has been taken over most of the duties (both mommy and daddy duties (good thing we bottle feed lol )).
On the second bragging moment her and I may turn around tomorrow and say I shouldnt have been bragging because it bit me in the butt but I just got to. The pass two to three nights she has had longer spells of not waking up for a bottle. I think it was Tuesday or Wednesday night she slept from 10pm to 7am and last night she slept from like 9pm to close to 5:30am and only then woke up because we had to change her so we could leave for my second surgery this morning ( I will write a post about that in just a few moments). I don’t want to say it but I do believe that our little Jelly Bean is gearing up to be sleeping all night long. Well, I hope so anyways. It would be nice about it. The doctor asked us about her night feedings and we told her and she that is very good.
Well that is our update on our little one.
