Stepping out of my comfort zone

I guess that this is a good title for this blog. Stepping out of my comfort zone.
This is just one goal of many for this year.  I do not remember if I wrote about my goals that I would like to accomplish this year. If not sorry but here is one thing I think I am accomplish and I do not even know if it was on my list or not and like the title says "Stepping out of my comfort zone" is one of those goals. 
If you truly know me you know that I am not the type of person to really speak their mind or even put myself out there and meet new people. And I know that this something that I am going have to work on if I want to start my photography business (yes I would love to have it up and running good by Oct but we will see.) Well about two weeks ago I asked in this mom group I am in for the community I live in if anyone would be willing to help me build my Photography portfolio up by doing some maternity photographs. And I had few people interested in doing so. When it was like time for two of the photo shoots it was suppose to rain so I asked if they wanted to reschedule, as I did not want them to get sick ,especially with this flu junk going around.   One was not able to do it on the days I asked because they was already dealing the flu and then I never heard back from them. I hope that they all are feeling better. The second one was not able to do it on the days I asked but we worked out a day and time. That day has done come and gone. 
Doing those photographs has taught me that it is something that I truly want to do and is very passionate about it. It also taught me I still have a lot to learn with like posing and etc. but I will get there. I also stepped out of that comfort zone and talked more then what I normally would to people and I am not talking about telling them how to pose or etc. lol but actually talked to them.
I am looking forward taken some photographs. I have one more this weekend (that is if the rain goes away that they have in the forecast). Then I may try to set up some for April or May one and try to do some all the up until Oct. ( I am talking about model calls).
I am also undecided if I want to start a website for photography business or just keep a facebook page and etc. Still got alot to figure out by Oct.
